4.boot- is a bootstrapping process that starts operating systems when the user turns on a computer system. A boot sequence is the initial set of operations that the computer performs when power is switched on. The bootloader typically loads the main operating system for the computer.
5.RAM-computer memory available to the user for creating, loading, or running programs and for the temporary storage and manipulation of data, in which time of access to each item is independent of the storage sequence.
6.resolution-the degree of sharpness of a computer-generated image as measured by the number of dots per linear inch in a hard-copy printout or the number of pixels across and down on a display screen.
7.non-system disk error-an error message that usually means a flopy disk has been left in the comupter when it was turn off.
8.firewall-Computer Science Any of a number of security schemes that prevent unauthorized users from gaining access to a computer network or that monitor transfers of information to and from the network.
9.bit-A bit is the basic unit of information in computing and telecommunications; it is the maximum amount of information that can be stored by a device or other physical system that can normally exist in only two distinct states
10.ROM-computer memory in which program instructions, operating procedures, or other data are permanently stored, generally on electronic chips during manufacture, and that ordinarily cannot be changed by the user.

Internet filter-is a term for software designed and optimized for controlling what content is permitted to a reader, especially when it is used to restrict material delivered over.

Plug-in-An accessory software program that extends the capabilities of an existing application.
Search engine-a computer program that searches documents, esp. on the World Wide Web, for a specified word or words and provides a list of documents in which they are found.
Internet service provider-A company or organization that provides access to the Internet through its servers, usually for a fee.
Web site-a connected group of pages on the World Wide Web regarded as a single entity, usually maintained by one person or organization and devoted to a single topic or several closely related topics.
Webmaster- A person whose occupation is designing, developing, marketing, or maintaining websites.
Worm-A computer worm is a self-replicating computer program. It uses a network to send copies of itself to other nodes (computers on the network) and it may do so without any user intervention. Unlike a virus, it does not need to attach itself to an existing program. Worms almost always cause at least some harm to the network, if only by consuming bandwidth, whereas viruses almost always corrupt or devour files on a targeted computer.
